5 Best Places to Visit in Singapore for Free

Apart from the stunning Marina Bay Sands, this city garden has other things for everyone to explore and experience. You’re about to know the places that are truly worth visiting and are definitely easy to access and of course for free.

  1. Singapore Botanic Gardens
It is said to be the most visited botanic gardens in the world and I totally understand why. I should say that this was the highlight of my second trip to this small-but-prosperous island nation.

Free admission (except National Orchid Garden), Open 5am to 12 midnight daily

It houses an array of botanical and horticultural attractions with a rich history, interesting donated art-works, and a fab plant assemblage of global significance. The different species of orchid were a delight to the eye. Don’t skip the orchid garden if you wish to see them.

This is the iconic landmark of the Gardens called Bandstand. It was once used as a site for music performances but now a favorite wedding photo spot.

2. Gardens by the Bay Supertree Grove
If you fancy a music and light show, visit Gardens by the Bay at night and go straight to the Supertree Grove and soak in the beauty of this mystical forest.

This isn’t a decent shot for I was immersed in the beautiful symphony.

Have you seen the light show in Hong Kong Harbor? Were you amazed by it? If so, then this display will give you triple wonder.

4. Little India
Do you want to feel that vibrant Indian vibes? Head to this bustling historic district and explore their mix of Hindu and Chinese temples, mosques and churches.

5. Jewel
While waiting for your flight, be amused by the gem of Changi Airport which is a walking distance from T1, T2, and T3. Jewel is a fusion of nature and engineering marvels which I’ve witnessed for the first time and I swear I have never seen anything quite like it. It has gardens, attractions, shops, restaurants, a hotel and facilities to aid airport operations.
