If you shop at Costco, you must have tried one or two Kirkland Signature items and perhaps loved them. If you haven’t, I’ve got this short list of low-cost but definitely high-quality products for you to try. But before that, to those who don’t know, Kirkland Signature is Costco’s private line. The name is derived from the location of Costco’s original base of operations in Kirkland, Washington. Now let’s go through the list.

I don’t know if you know this already, but eat less or stay away from dairy and sugar.

Kirkland product is great quality. I buy the black pepper too. They also have the whole black pepper and crystal salt grinder – lasts a long time and is equally worth checking out. I’ve also heard a lot about the almond milk – will love to try it. Thanks for sharing.

That’s a very good list. I swear by their spices and milk selection.
Seaweed – not so much 🙂

The roasted seaweed is best eaten when wrapped around rice, the Korean style. 😀

Here in the US, Costco has placed their “Kirkland” brand as fairly high quality. My experience has mostly followed suit. Surprisingly, I’ve even come across some pretty good Kirkland-branded wines (I like their Argentinian Malbec). The only potential downside is that with some items it requires purchasing amounts that might not be amenable to Japanese-size storage. But since we live in the mountains and tend to stock up a pantry, it doesn’t much matter for us.

Can’t argue with that. If you come to my house, you’ll see how Kirkland Signature uses up most of the space in my kitchen. 😀
