Review: Innisfree My Real Squeeze Mask EX (Pomegranate)

Anti-aging and antioxidant properties are among the myriad benefits pomegranates offer for your skin. The Innisfree My Real Squeeze Mask EX (Pomegranate) is a moisture-rich essence mask that promises to infuse skin with the vibrancy of juicy pomegranates, according to the brand. After trying it for the first time last night, I instantly knew whether it lived up to its claims.

   HOW TO USE
   1. After cleansing, use toner to refine skin texture.
   2. Unfold and place the mask on the face, avoiding the eye and lip area.
   3. Leave on for 10 to 20 minutes.
   4. Remove the mask and gently pat the remaining content for better absorption.

PROS

3. Designed with a handle atop the sheet mask for effortless application and removal.
4. Deeply moisturizes without any stickiness, especially in the winter season.
5. Leaves skin with a smooth and luminous finish.
6. Post-application, the skin feels supple and exhibits a subtle radiance.

CONS

1. Requires a longer drying time.
2. I noticed it contains alcohol upon examining the ingredients. Given a redness flare-up I had last night—attributed to the cold weather and prolonged heater exposure—I opted to leave it on for just 10 minutes to avoid exacerbating the irritation. An unusual tingling sensation persisted throughout.
3. The inclusion of fragrance isn’t to my preference as my skin tends to react sensitively to alcohol and synthetic fragrances.
