If you have dry lips most of the time due to some elements like the cold weather, dry air, dehydration, and the likes, there are two things that you can do to battle this common issue. Drink lots of water and use non-irritating lip balm. The latter is sometimes tricky. You buy something that promises to help deal with your dry lips but it does the opposite at times. Worse, it doesn’t do the job. That’s why it’s a practical thing to check out reviews first before spending a dime on something you’re uncertain about.
For today’s entry, I’m going to share my experience with this Japanese lip balm I’ve been trying out for about 5 days now. Does it work? Keep reading and you’ll find out.

Features
- A stick type lip balm that can be easily applied to lips that tend to dry.
- Contains vitamin C, vitamin E, and hyaluronic acid.
- Has active ingredients such as tocopherol acetate that promotes blood circulation and stearyl glycyrrhetinate for anti-inflammatory effect.
- Its yellowish color is due to vitamin B2.
3.5g, 760 JPY (excluding tax)
Available at the drugstores (I got mine from Matsumoto Kiyoshi.)
I like how small it is and secure at the same time. You can definitely carry it around. It has a faint funny scent but doesn’t linger at all. My lips haven’t experienced any allergic reactions so far. I think it’s out of the question. I typically put it on right after shower. It’s easy to apply as it glides smoothly. Super light. It does moisturize my lips but not that long. I have to reapply often. But it sometimes depends on the circumstances. Some days are better than the others. You know what I mean. I’ll keep using this for now. I’d recommend this but Innisfree Canola Honey Lip Balm is still my number one.
