Hotel Review: HOTEL MYSTAYS Nagoya Sakae

I had the chance to stay here with my husband and mom last week. We explored Nagoya for 2 days and this clean hotel gave us 2 nice non-smoking rooms to rest in. Obviously, I shared a room with my spouse that had a bed big enough for 2 heads. The size of the room was the typical small size of a Japanese hotel. Basic items such as an LCD TV, a safe, a mini-fridge, a hairdryer, and a selection of toiletries were provided plus the Japanese style pajamas. I’d say they made up for the absence of the complimentary water bottle. The room was functional.

We booked through Booking.com.

We decided not to avail the daily breakfast buffet so we could experience dining at some local restaurants. Luckily it’s located in the business district where one can enjoy strolling and feel the Nagoya vibes. Also, it’s near a metro station and a highway exit which was really convenient for us since we travelled there by car. It’s also close to a few tourist spots which I will be sharing on my next post. I have to say that we didn’t have any issues while staying there. The only thing that turned me off was the parking space. We had to walk for about 5 minutes from the hotel and had to pay for it. Without a car, this hotel is good enough.

Where did you stay in Nagoya? How was it?

  1. The bed looks nice. What brought you to the hotel? Did your mom enjoy the room? I hope you had good view from the room.

    1. It’s near the pet hotel we booked for our dog. That’s why. All of us enjoyed our stay.
      Thanks for your time!
