Review: Ikidane Residential Hotel Hakata Tenjin 2

During our recent stay in Fukuoka, the Ikidane Residential Hotel Hakata Tenjin 2 served as our delightful abode for a span of 4 days and 3 nights. The ambiance of this hotel can best be described as the comforting embrace of a warm cup of cocoa on a brisk winter afternoon.

Often, it’s when we curtail our expectations that life springs the most pleasant of surprises. With this hotel, I had modest hopes, only to be greeted with an experience that exceeded my wildest dreams. The Ikidane Residential Hotel Hakata Tenjin 2 wasn’t just a place to sleep; it was our serene oasis amidst the bustling city, providing an intimate nest of relaxation.

Let me share a few compelling reasons why I wholeheartedly recommend this aparthotel to fellow travelers:

  1. Situated just 9km from the airport, the Ikidane Residential Hotel is closer than you might think. For those who, like me, prefer a simpler reference: it’s incredibly accessible and the journey there is straightforward. Its prime location along the main road makes it easy to spot. And, if you’re looking for precise directions, Google Maps served us well, and I’d recommend using it too.
  2. From this location, popular sightseeing attractions are conveniently reachable, either by a quick train ride or a leisurely walk.
  3. The hotel’s surroundings are tranquil and immaculate. Inside the room, the noise of passing cars is virtually imperceptible, offering guests a serene sanctuary.
  4. The hotel ensures a smooth check-in and check-out experience. Prior to your arrival, they send an informative email detailing their policies, conveniently provided in English.
  5. Adjacent to the hotel is a convenient and accessible convenience store. Moreover, a variety of restaurants are within easy walking distance, ensuring you’re never far from satisfying your dining preferences.
  6. The facilities provided are all functioning. I love that it has a washing machine alongside a sachet of washing powder.

  7. Cooking is allowed. This cute kitchen has a small fridge and basic utensils.

  9. The unit features a balcony where you can see the clean main road, pedestrians going about their day, nice buildings, blue skies, and so on.
  10. The tidy toilet and shower are separated and equipped with toiletries.
  11. Family-friendly.
  12. It’s a bit bigger than the usual Japanese hotel.
  13. Its cleanliness is commendable.
  14. Free Wi-fi and it works well.
  15. The price is just right!

It’s important to note that unlike traditional hotels, daily cleaning services aren’t provided here. However, this characteristic didn’t pose any inconvenience during our stay. If you’re interested in booking, you can easily do so through Booking.com. Please rest assured that my insight is purely a personal recommendation and not an advertisement.

  1. […] “What’s the popular dish there?” This is me whenever I’m about to go on a trip. I’m confident that a lot can relate. A different kind of excitement runs in my veins when food is the subject. Moreover, I believe that trying new food is the greatest part of traveling. With the help of my resourceful lifetime travel buddy, coming up with a list was not difficult. And our dedication helped us achieve our goal. We were lucky enough that the restaurants offering these dishes were within walking distance from our hotel. […]
