(Singapore) Tasty and Affordable Dishes to Try!

You can’t perfectly take joy in your trip if you don’t get the chance to have delicious eats in Singapore. Right, fellow foodies? On my earlier post, I mentioned about a building that includes a variety of cuisines that you might revel in. If you stay somewhere near Food Republic, you won’t have to worry about your meals. One eatery there offers dishes that definitely made my tummy happy. It’s a noodle shop run by a middle-aged man. All noodles are handmade which is amazing. Sorry but I can’t remember the name of his store. You might find him after seeing these.

Beef Noodle Soup
Black Pepper Chicken Noodle Soup
Spicy Noodle Soup

Apart from his bestseller noodles, these are also worth a try.

Fried Dumpling
Can you guess what the name is? 😀

Another diner has my recommendation as well. They offer rice bowl dishes like this one.

Sweet and Sour Fish Rice Bowl

You might notice a fresh fruit drink that looks like this..

Fresh Coconut Drink

I didn’t really enjoy this one, but you can try it and tell me what you think about it. And just in case you have a layover in Kuala Lumpur International Airport and get hungry while waiting for your onward flight, have your fill at The Chicken Rice Shop. Don’t miss out on one of their signature products!

Honey-glazed Chicken Barbecue

Singapore is pretty diverse so I wasn’t able to find a local restaurant nearby the hotel. I can’t even tell who the locals are and how they look like. Even so, I certainly had a savory food experience. What did you eat in Singapore?
