(Singapore) What to see

As a budget traveler myself, I tend to weigh things out. It’s either spending more on accommodation while less on the itinerary or the other way around. This time, the husband and I did the first one. Our stay at Rendezvous Hotel Singapore was all worthwhile. Because the hotel is just a few minutes away from the spots we visited, we totally enjoyed getting around on foot except for a particular day we spent on Universal Studios where we reached by train.

You might want to check them out on your future trip.

This should come as no surprise. Tourists must see Singapore’s national icon.

Be mesmerized by the striking view especially at night.

Universal Studios Singapore

Located on Sentosa Island is the Southeast Asia’s first Hollywood movie theme park where adults and kids can absolutely be entertained. If you own a MasterCard, you’ll get a discount on tickets and souvenirs.

Just by coincidence, we got to take a peek at Formula 1 that took place on the same dates of our trip. Didn’t even know such event exists for I certainly am not a fan. But it was fun to see and hear the racing cars.

Also, if you’re a moviegoer you should experience the cinema. It’s amusing to see how the people there behave when at the theatre.

Our 3 days in Singapore went by so fast. However, it was good enough! I was able to see  what I came for. The culture, people, food, and the famous landmarks. The short trip has given me another perspective on life which makes it noteworthy.
