Review: Shiseido Majolica Majorca Rouge Majex Lip Gloss

I intended to buy this product for summer because I wanted to be comfortable and still presentable on blazing days in Japan. Just so you know this is my one and only lip gloss apart from my 2 lip sticks. I’m not much of a lip makeup person. Do I recommend this? Read on!

Shiseido Majolica Majorca Rouge Majex Lip Gloss
Color: PK338 (45g), 880円(JPY)

  1. With 70% moisturizing component
  2. Tinted
  3. Sweet berry scent
  4. Formulated with olive oil and royal jelly extract.

  1. Cute packaging
  2. Nice scent
  3. No funky taste
  4. Easy to carry
  5. Easy to apply with its bent doe-foot applicator.
  6. Shimmery
  7. No heavy feeling
  8. Not overly sticky

  1. A bit expensive for its size.
  2. The pigment isn’t that obvious.
  3. Its moist wears out.
  4. Cracks and dries my lips which is weird since Shiseido claims it to be 70% moisturizing.

Obviously not buying this again. With the experience I had, I’m not recommending this.

  1. Hi Sheryl,
This is Jimi Tomorrow, you commented on my first post here on WordPress, and I thank you for that, it’s encouraging.
So I decided to check out your posts and what you’re in to.
You have a LOT of posts, and an extensive collection of product reviews!!!
I wanted to go back and see your first posts to see how you started, but my thumb got tired of scrolling… 😄

I love the format and style you use for your reviews! They’re concise, informative, gracious and very professional! They have just enough friendly banter to start with but not so much (like I see all over the tech reviews I read! Ugh!) that a person would be one disinterested…
Like I said, I think you’re incredibly good at this!

    I am impressed!

    1. Hi Jimi! Thanks for your kind words. I deleted my first few posts. They were too awkward for me. LOL
If you still want to know, my About page will tell a little how I started.

Keep writing and enjoy blogging! 🙂
