A dream come true: Tokyo DisneySea

May 3, 2016

I earnestly waited for this day to come. Indeed, good things come to those who wait. 😉 I felt the same merriment as just when I first set foot in Hong Kong Disneyland. I can’t even put into words how I exactly feel whenever I look back on these days.

It was on the 3rd of May that Danny decided to take me to a place where dreams come true. Tokyo DisneySea always serves its purpose and I was more than glad to know that we were there during its 15th anniversary. More loads of surprises and amusement! Hooray!🎉

We hired a car to get there so to spare less time traveling. Its location is quite far from our place. We got there around 8:30 in the morning. Thank goodness the queue at the ticket booth was fair enough. 😄 Getting there as early as possible is the best of all.

FYI:      1-Day Passport / Adult           –    ¥7,400

If you aren’t confident with speaking Japanese, worry not because they have English speaking staff.

Soon we got to the entrance, this huge thing welcomed us!

Seeing the pleased faces of the crowd delighted the heart. This place creates no boundaries. That day, I saw various nationalities of distant ages, variant sizes, and different walks of life. People gathered for one common purpose. How I wish people would also have one common goal outside Tokyo DisneySea.

When we looked over the guide map, we were a little taken aback at the many attractions, rides, shows and the like to see, to experience and to take joy in for a limited given time. I would love to do everything all at once in a day but it was quite impossible. Queuing time was unbeatable chiefly for popular attractions. Not to mention the walking time and all. Still, we tried our best to make the most of our time there. Thus taking a lot of photos was something my mind couldn’t get on the beam. At least I took some when one side of the brain poked me.

TIP: If you have a 1-day passport, it’s best to choose the attractions with short waiting time regardless of the level of fun. 😄 Besides, you can make use of Disney FASTPASS. It’s designed to shorten your waiting time at a few attractions marked with FP. Only one FASTPASS ticket is issued at a time. So choose the attraction that you think will give you the most fun.

We decided on spending our whole day strolling, viewing, munching, and trying a few rides and came to terms to save the rest of our time for Fantasmic. It’s one of the “Tokyo DisneySea Today” shows.

I, fortunately, was able to take a video of this. A little dark, though.

This was the part where hunger caught us. So we had lunch here. ⬇ A little pricey but it was good!

This is also a “Tokyo DisneySea Today” show. I was so happy to see Mickey and the gang singing and dancing. I might have missed the beginning part but it didn’t matter to me at all. Seeing Mickey was good enough. Yeah, I love Mickey!😍 Danny always gives me an evil grin to that. 😀

Mediterranean Harbor

This was where everybody brought together to catch Fantasmic! Said to be an unforgettable Disney entertainment. Couldn’t contain myself so I asked Danny to stay in the place earlier. I wanted to be in a good spot where I could somehow clearly see Mickey.

So Mickey’s magnificent world of wonder and fantasy finally began!

Veritably, it was remarkable. Kudos to the brilliant people behind all these amazing things. In like manner, it was the time Danny and I got to know each other more. I think going somewhere with your partner gives you both the chance to discover new certain things about one another.
