About Sheryl
I’m Sheryl Gim, a passionate blogger since 2014 and a former ESL teacher with six years of experience. I earned my BSED-English degree and passed the Professional Teachers Licensure Exam in 2011 in my country.
I fell in love with traveling when I started making money which took me to all sorts of cool places and opened up my world. I’m also big on food, binge-watching shows, pets, and acquiring new knowledge.
In 2016, I relocated to Japan and embarked on a career in pet sitting—a path I never imagined I would take. By 2022, I had become a Fear Free certified professional pet sitter. I have thoroughly enjoyed this unexpected journey.
Socializing can make me feel a bit awkward at times. I cherish my alone time focusing on my personal interests. Currently, I’m taking a breather, allowing me ample time to delve back into my blogging passion.

Because you are not a resident in Japan, you have to apply for the Korean visa at the Korean embassy where you legally live.
